5 Ways to Make a Difference in the World

Are you a young Christian looking for ways to make a difference in the world? The Great Commission is a call to action that challenges us to share the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. It is an invitation to be part of something bigger than ourselves, to be agents of change in a world that desperately needs the hope and love of Jesus Christ.

Fulfilling the Great Commission requires a willingness to step out of our comfort zones and share our faith with others. It can be intimidating to talk to people about Jesus, but we can take comfort in knowing that we are not alone. Jesus promised to be with us always, even to the end of the ages (Matthew 28:20). With His help, we can overcome our fears and boldly proclaim the gospel.

Here are some practical ways that you can fulfill the Great Commission as a young Christian:

  1. Pray: Pray for opportunities to share the Gospel with others, and for the courage and wisdom to do so. Pray for the people you know who do not yet know Jesus, and ask God to open their hearts to the truth.

  2. Build relationships: Get to know people and build relationships with them. Show them the love of Christ through your actions and words, and be willing to listen to their stories and struggles.

  3. Share your testimony: Your personal story of how you came to know Jesus can be a powerful tool for sharing the gospel. Be willing to share your testimony with others, and invite them to ask questions and learn more.

  4. Serve others: Look for ways to serve others in your community, both physically and spiritually. Volunteer at a local shelter or food bank, participate in a mission trip, or help out at your church. As you serve others, you will have opportunities to share the gospel and demonstrate the love of Christ.

  5. Be intentional: Make fulfilling the Great Commission a priority in your life. Look for opportunities to share the gospel and make disciples, and be intentional about building relationships with people who do not yet know Jesus.

As young Christians, we have the opportunity to make a difference in the world by fulfilling the Great Commission. It is not always easy, but with God's help, we can share the hope and love of Jesus with those around us. Let us be bold, courageous, and intentional as we seek to make disciples of all nations.
